Hi Selin,
I want to thank you for cooking my recipes for your children:)
My daughter and husband especially love this recipe too. I am glad you like it:)
Hi Binnur,
I love this dish. However every time I make it, it looks more like a stew...( I don't mind, just extra juice to dip some fresh turkish bread in:) ) How much water do you usually have left over when the dish is done cooking?
Thanks!
Hi Ayhan,
Yeah, it is so good dipping Turkish bread in it, I love it too:)
With the measurements in the recipe, you should have some water left over. Were you using yellow potatoes maybe?
Yellow potatoes absorb more water and after cooking it looks like a
stew. I suggest you use white potatoes. Put an extra cup of hot water on the counter, and while the potatoes are cooking, check and if it is necessary add little by little:)
Afiyet olsun...
Hello Binnur,
For the last 7 years I've been looking for a site like this, I've been in Turkey several times in the 90's and I thought they have the best cuisine and probably one of the helthiest in the world.Great job.
