Fried Mixed Vegetables with Sauce

(Karisik Sebze Kizartmasi)

Fried Mixed Vegetables with Sauce
1 medium eggplant, peeled in lengthwise strips, cut in small cubes
1 zucchini, cut in small cubes
1 medium potato, peeled, cut in small cubes
1 cubanelle pepper, seeds discarded, cut in chunks
1/2 cup sunflower oil

Yogurt Sauce:
1/2 cup yogurt
1-2 garlic clove, smashed with salt

Tomato Sauce:
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
6 heaping tbsp of diced tomato, in can
2 heaping tbsp of crushed tomato, in can
Salt

Soak the eggplants in 2 cups of water with salt for about 20 minutes. Squeeze and dry them with paper towel. Meanwhile combine all the tomato sauce ingredients in a small pot. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Make sure it doesn't dry out.

Fried the all the vegetables orderly in sunflower oil. Afterwards, place on a paper towel to soak up excess oil. Let it cool. Then place them on service plate. Serve it with yogurt sauce or tomato sauce (or both of them).

Meal Ideas:
- Turkish Hamburger, Kidney Bean Salad and Orange Cake with Turkish Tea.

Maybe I wasn't clear. I was merely referring to your RSS feed, which has only the beginning of the receipe and lacks any pictures. If you could simply include the full text and whatever picture you place on the web within the RSS feed, that would be great. (It'd be the same picture and, after all, whoever is inclided to take it can swipe it from either the web page or the RSS feed with equal ease.)

It's just that reading about food without pictures is, well, unappetizing. And you do have great pictures. Just don't deny people accessing your site through RSS readers the same pleasure. Thanks.

Oh I misunderstood what you said initially. I use the standard
blogger rss feed and I'm not sure if the pictures can easily be placed in them. My daughter takes care of those aspects of the site so I'll ask her if it's possible to do so easily..

Hello from Australia my dear friend, I hope you are well.

I just want to confirm a few things with you please.

1 The kizartma, is that to be served hot or cold?
2 The meat balls with mashed potato inside, I made this which was lovely. We ate it with rice, is this correct?
3 The orange and shrimp, is this meant to be served cold? I think so. I am thinking of things to prepare for Ramadan and what can be cooked and prepared before hand. Time is of the essence.

I think that was all I needed to know at ths stage. Thank you so so much

Hi,
Kızartma should be served at room temperature or cold.
Sure, you can serve meat balls with Pilaf
The orange and shrimp ıs also be served at room temperature or cold.
