thanks for details I needed
I love anything with chick peas in it! Thanks for this one. Its a perfect pairing with my sauted vegies.
I was wondering if you knew any turkish beers of note. My fiance is a big beer drinker and it would be nice to do a whole turkis dinner paired with a beer.

Hi Binnur,
I love your site. Your photos are gorgeous, and I also really appreciate the photos of some of the cooking steps that may be unfamiliar to those of us with different cooking traditions.
This recipe looks delicious. But I don't see the chickpeas in the ingredients list. What quantity do you use, and do you use canned? Or do you soak and cook the dried ones?
Thanks,
Robin
Thank you Robin, I just corrected:)
the amount of water must be important for this recipe. Can you add this info please?
Hi, the amount of the water is on the ingredients list:)
1 1/4 cup chicken or beef stock
This pilaf is simply delicious!!!! I just made it and can't get away from the pot. I'm afraid my husband won't get a chance to even try it. Thank you very much for such an easy to follow recipe. Now we can enjoy turkish cooking in the comfort of our home. I'm looking forward to trying all of the recipes here. :)
